Sugar Free Waffles

This sugar free waffles recipe has been past down from my mother, and it is loved by both kids and adults. I have made this homemade healthy waffle recipe on a weekly basis for countless lunch playdates for the kids, breakfast, weekend lunch, brunch and even dinner. Definitely a fan favorite!

Equipment

  • 1 Waffle Maker
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Ladle
  • 1 Mixing Spoon
  • 1 Set of Measuring spoons
  • 1 Set of Measuring cups
  • 1 Liquid Measuring cup

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups flour all-purpose
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra light taste or vegetable oil
  • 1 ½ cups milk regular or lactose free

Instructions

  • Preheat the electric waffle iron to desired temperature.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  • Add eggs, olive oil, and milk to the dry ingredients and mix with a whisk until well incorporated.
  • Pour batter into preheated waffle iron, and cook until golden.
  • Serve warm with maple syrup and favorite toppings.

Notes

Mix waffle batter well, but don't over mix as it will toughen the waffles.
